OutletIQ/OutletIQ vs Skynamo
Comparison
Skynamo is the field sales name that comes up most often in UK and Ireland evaluations, and it is a close functional analogue to OutletIQ. Here is what Skynamo publishes about itself, and where the two differ on fit.
Currently in production with a spirits distributor.
Skynamo and OutletIQ both put a mobile app in a field rep’s hand and a console in a manager’s browser. The difference is scope. Skynamo positions itself as “a unified platform that streamlines your entire sales operations”, covering field sales, inside sales, customer self-service, retail execution and ordering, with ERP integration as a headline capability.
OutletIQ is deliberately narrower. It covers one operation end to end: the drinks or FMCG distributor whose reps visit outlets, prove they were there, audit the shelf and take the order on the same call. If you need a platform across your whole commercial organisation, Skynamo is built for that breadth. If you need outlet-level execution you can trust, OutletIQ is built for that depth.
Side by side
Every Skynamo row below is taken from Skynamo’s own website, checked on 13 September 2026 and linked at the foot of this page. Where Skynamo does not describe something publicly, this page says so rather than guessing.
| Skynamo, per its own site | OutletIQ | |
|---|---|---|
| Positioning | A unified platform that streamlines an entire B2B sales operation, spanning field sales, inside sales, customer self-service, retail execution and ordering. | Field sales execution for drinks and FMCG distributors. One operation, covered end to end. |
| Named products | Field Sales App, Field Sales App for ERP Go, Radar for analytics and AI-driven insight, and a Catalogue App for digital catalogues and ordering. | Rep app on Android and a web manager console, covering visits, audits, orders, routes, approvals and purchase orders. |
| Industries named | Food and beverage, beauty and cosmetics, and building and hardware, selling to manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors. | Drinks and FMCG distribution specifically. |
| ERP integration | A headline capability. Names ERP Go, formerly IQ Retail, and describes working with on-premise, legacy and cloud systems without requiring an upgrade. | CSV export as standard, with integration handled per deployment. Bring your stack to the demo and we will be specific. |
| Offline working | States offline mobile capability. | Offline-first. Local database plus outbox sync. A full day with no signal is a supported case. |
| Devices | iPhone and Android, with an interface the site describes as “fat-finger friendly”. | Android only, bring-your-own-device on everyday handsets, light on data and storage. |
| Visit verification | Not published as a detailed specification on the pages checked. | Geofence, 30-minute dwell check, mock-GPS detection and location-fix density, cross-checked on every visit, with failures flagged into a review queue with photo evidence. |
| Order pricing control | Ordering and digital catalogue are named capabilities. Pricing control is not specified on the pages checked. | Totals are recomputed server-side from the price book. The device never sets a price. Submissions are idempotent. |
| Approvals and purchase orders | Not described as a module on the pages checked. | Multi-stage chains for expenses, leave and stock requests. Local Purchase Orders generate a PDF on final approval. |
| Markets named | United Kingdom, USA and South Africa. | UK, Ireland and West Africa. Currently in production with a spirits distributor. |
| Pricing | Four options listed: month-to-month, annual subscription, ERP-integrated rollout, and platform plus Radar. No figures published. Priced on users, products, ERP requirements and scale. | Quote-only, priced per operation against team size and rollout scope. |

Where OutletIQ adds
Most field sales tools log a visit when a rep taps a button. That is fine when the rep is on a company phone in a city with full coverage and a manager two desks away.
It stops being fine when reps are on their own handsets, working routes nobody can see, in places where the signal comes and goes. OutletIQ was built the other way round.
On top of that sits the commercial layer a distributor actually runs on: server-side order totals, free stock and promotional compliance recorded against the outlet, and approvals through to a signed purchase order PDF.
Questions
Skynamo describes itself as a unified platform for B2B sales operations, spanning field sales, inside sales, customer self-service, retail execution and ordering, with a strong emphasis on connecting to an existing ERP. OutletIQ is narrower on purpose. It is field sales execution for drinks and FMCG distributors, built around verified outlet visits, store audits, order capture with server-side totals and a manager review queue.
Skynamo lists the United Kingdom, the USA and South Africa on its site, with a South African support number, so it operates across all three. Its UK and Ireland presence in this category is genuine, which is why it comes up in most UK field sales evaluations.
Not as figures. As of 13 September 2026 the Skynamo pricing page lists four options, month-to-month, annual subscription, ERP-integrated rollout, and platform plus Radar, and states that pricing depends on number of users, products selected, ERP integration requirements and the scale of the operation. OutletIQ is quote-only on the same basis.
Skynamo makes ERP integration a headline capability and names ERP Go, formerly IQ Retail, alongside support for on-premise, legacy and cloud systems. If a deep ERP tie-in is the first requirement, that is Skynamo's stated strength. OutletIQ exports orders as CSV and is integrated per deployment, so bring your stack to the demo and we will be specific about what is involved.
Yes. Skynamo states offline mobile capability on its site. OutletIQ is offline-first, meaning the rep app runs on a local database and queues everything in an outbox that syncs when signal returns.
Skynamo says its app runs on iPhone and Android. OutletIQ is Android only and is designed for bring-your-own-device on everyday handsets, which keeps the rollout free of hardware.
Because the whole product is shaped around one operation: reps visiting outlets, proving the visit, running the audit, capturing the order at a price the handset cannot change, and pushing free stock and promotional compliance back to a manager who has to sign things off. It is currently in production with a spirits distributor.
